Twombly Nursery is staffed by Connecticut's leading experts in the fields of ornamental horticulture, architectural landscaping, environmental design and tree care.

Through its first class landscape design, on-site gardens, informative lectures and articles, renowned reference guide and exquisite offerings of hard-to-find plants, Twombly has built an impeccable reputation for quality and knowledge.

IIMS designed the Twombly Nursery Web site to reflect the nursery's sophistication and commitment to quality. Earth tones that represent Twombly's ties to nature and complement the company's standard forest green were chosen as highlight colors.

A structured layout was developed for the presentation of content and dramatic plant photos and collages were positioned to project the idea of landscape architecture. Photo tours of the Retail Nursery and Display Gardens were added to further generate interest in the nursery. Animations of multiseasonal plants were used to show how they would look through the different seasons.

The Twombly Web site surrounds the viewer in the atmosphere of the nursery and guides one quickly to a wealth of information. Beyond simply looking good, the Web site projects the attitudes and ideals of Twombly Nursery.
